As part of the 2005 Energy Bill passed by Congress, new tax credits for builders, building owners, design professionals, businesses and homeowners were passed.
To be able to help consumers receive these tax credits the following Tax Credits are presented and calculated: Residential solar PV and solar hot water heating systems (solar thermal collectors), highly efficient commercial buildings credits, improvements to existing homes, high efficient air conditioning systems.
In today’s challenging real estate market realtors, builders and mortgage professionals will gain important differentiating techniques to support your clients by understanding green residential home loans, HUD loans, green financing options and credits, PACE funding .
Design engineers and architects will enjoy this course supported by the US Green Building Council and LEED credits will be discussed. This course will demonstrate the Florida Solar Energy Center’s EnergyGauge® software tools that can help students calculate many tax credits.
