USSolar Institute to use the Mia Green 2014 conference to showcase its distribution, engineering, procurement, and construction services for the Caribbean solar PV markets.

Miami, FL (Marketwire) February 20, 2014 – At the upcoming February 27~28th Mia Green 2014 conference in Miami, Florida.  The US Solar Institute (USSolar) will showcase their full range of solar energy service offerings to promote its growing role within the Florida, Latin America and Caribbean solar markets.

Best known for its Department of Education-Licensed solar PV installation courses, the Fort Lauderdale-based Corporation will use the upcoming conference to increase market awareness of their distribution, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solar PV solutions.

USSolar provides complete residential, commercial and utility level packages comprised of panels, racking and BOS from industry leading manufacturers SolarEdge, Renesola and Snap N Rac.  The company is a direct distributor for each company and all three will be present in the booth with USSolar to provide a unified approach for solar integrators, designers and owners who seek the most proven products in the unique markets of the Caribbean.

Central to the company’s approach is USSolar’s ability to develop highly skilled labor.  In many Caribbean and Latin American countries, new projects must use local talent to qualify for solar-related permits and incentives.

According to USSolar President, Ray Johnson, “Because the majority of our graduates come from places like Jamaica and the Bahamas, we already have a deep network of licensed dealers, partners, and installers throughout the Caribbean.”  He adds, “Plus, we provide additional on-site training to ensure the continued development of local talent.”

USSolar also boasts extensive experience with financing arrangements, given its relationships with national investment banks, regional lenders and governments.

“One of the biggest challenges in the Florida and Caribbean solar markets is access to the market – both for integrators, investors and manufacturers,” comments Johnson.  “We broker the necessary contracts, negotiate terms, and protect cash flows to ensure new solar projects are completed securely and profitably.”
