USSolar Institute Students Build Five Solar Systems in Five Days as Real World Training
® at USSolar Institute took on a whole new meaning this past week at the Florida based solar training company.  USSI has raised the bar for on the job training by installing five (5) systems in five (5) days.

USSI’s awarded on the job solar training class of August of 2013 included more solar panel installation experience than ever offered before.

A team of eight (8) students accomplished installing five (5) systems in five (5) days during the leading Florida Solar Training institute’s flagship course – PV401 this past August 2013.

“Everyone wants to come to PV401 but, only the elite make it boasts Ray Johnson the USSolar Institutes Founder and President… that is what makes our program so especially unique”.

Overall an amazing 10,000 watts of commercial, institutional and residential grid interactive and battery backed up off grid systems were installed this session by a diverse group of students from across the nation and world installed solar energy systems from Key West to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The most recent class was provided this unique solar Real World Training® experience aspect of the program after completing two intense weeks of solar educational course tagged PV101, OSHA 30 Hour, PV201 and PV301.

The USSI class of August 2013 immediately became responsible for troubleshooting existing systems, responded to service calls, built new systems on residential, commercial and institutional clients’ properties; as well as, installed a 3000-watt system SMA Sunny Boy Inverter as part of a USSolar Institute laboratory-testing program called The PV Challenge©.
