US Solar Institute selected by CREF to sponsor 2014 Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum as Caribbean Solar Educational Sponsor
Fort Lauderdale, FL (September 24, 2014) – The Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF) has recently selected US Solar Institute (USSI) as the Caribbean Solar Educational Sponsor for the upcoming international forum, to take place in Miami, Florida. The forum will host more than 500 delegates from over 40 countries for three days of highly anticipated conference sessions and networking, to take place October 6-8, at the JW Marriott Marquis, downtown Miami.
USSI plays a major role in the development of the Caribbean solar market and is honored to be recognized as the education sponsor for the event. In addition to being one of the larger installers and wholesale distributors throughout the entire Caribbean and Latin America regions, USSI has expanded their Department of Education-licensed solar PV training courses to be specifically relevant for the unique challenges, markets and opportunities in the Caribbean solar industry.
Over the past years, USSI has trained thousands worldwide and is excited to be in a unique position to continue share that expertise with the Caribbean market. The effective design, construction, and maintenance of solar systems is not a simple undertaking, but USSI courses empower students with the knowledge that they need. “The course was perfect for both novice and experience solar enthusiasts.” Said a former Cayman Islands USSI student. “It is structured and builds gradually making it very understandable and loads of fun.”
The founder of USSI (Ray Johnson) will be attending CREF. “We enjoy CREF as one of the best run seminars in the industry – not just the Caribbean.” He said. “We are thrilled to be taking part in this event and sharing our message of education.”
