  6. Robust solar policies in Massachusetts resulted in a quadrupled increase in solar in 2012.
  7. Beneficial state policies have motivated Colorado electric consumers to install solar to run their meters backwards.
  8. Texas, the largest state in the U.S., has twice the solar potential of any other state. Although ranked number ten in installations, it is ranked second in rooftop solar potential.
