I, the registered student, agree and confirm that I will be the only person actively taking this course from start to completion.

Methods of Payment

Full payment made at time of signing enrollment agreement.

ONLINE COURSE TIME LIMIT

Students have 365 days from date of purchase to complete an online course. Once the 365 days have passed the course will expire and the student will no longer have access to the online course.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Should a student’s enrollment be terminated or cancelled for any reason, all refunds will be made according to the following refund schedule:

  1. Cancellation can be made in person, by electronic mail, by Certified Mail or by termination.
  1. All monies will be refunded if the school does not accept the applicant or if the student cancels within three (3) business days after signing the enrollment agreement and making initial payment.
  1. Cancellation after the third (3rd) Business Day, but 14 days before the first class, results in a refund of all monies paid, with the exception of the registration fee (not to exceed $150).
  1. Cancellation after attendance has begun, but prior to 40% completion of the course, will result in a Pro Rata refund computed on the number of hours completed to the total program hours.
  1. Cancellation after completing 40% of the course will result in no refund.
  1. Termination Date: In calculating the refund due to a student, the last date of actual attendance by the student is used in the calculation unless earlier written notice is received.
  1. Refunds will be made within 30 days of termination of students’ enrollment or receipt of Cancellation Notice from student.
  1. Cancellation of a class as a result of an Act of God will result in a student’s ability to apply payment to an upcoming class. If a class is cancelled for a reason other than an Act of God, students are eligible for a refund or to apply payment to an upcoming class.

GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION

I agree to comply with the rules and policies and understand that US SOLAR INSTITUTE shall have the right to terminate this contract and my enrollment at any time for violation of rules and policies as outlined in the catalog. I understand that the Institute reserves the right to modify the rules and regulation, and that I will be advised of any and all modifications.

Confidentiality

I understand and acknowledge that I seek to be enrolled in the program for my personal benefit.  I agree that I will not copy or cause to be copied or reproduced in any way, form or manner, any of the US SOLAR INSTITUTE material copyrighted materials or any other materials that may be used in the program.  I also agree to keep these materials completely confidential at all times and acknowledge that US SOLAR INSTITUTE holds sole title and/or license to all of these materials.  I will not allow any other person to use, view, scan, summarize, or copy these materials or notes based on these materials.  I agree that these materials will not be sold, loaned, rented, given away, distributed, auctioned, or exploited in any manner.  I further certify that I am not an agent or employee of any solar education company.  In the event that US SOLAR INSTITUTE determines that any of these covenants have been breached or violated by me, in addition to all other remedies, I agree to indemnify US SOLAR INSTITUTE for all damages including attorney fees, I consent to being immediately terminated from the tutoring program without refund and I agree to return any and all US SOLAR INSTITUTE materials to US SOLAR INSTITUTE immediately.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

This contract contains the entire agreement between the Institute and myself, and no further modification or representation except as herein expressed in writing will be recognized.
